NeoSapien Shark Tank India Pitch:
NeoSapien is an Indian startup which appeared on Shark Tank India Season 4 Episode 6. The company have created an AI-powered wearable that functions as a second brand. Users will wear this device as a pendent and it will record all the conversations and retain information & send reminders. The founders sought an investment of ₹80 Lakhs in exchange for 2.5% equity in the company valuing the business at ₹32 Crores.
NeoSapien was started in January 2024. The company’s vision is to create a wearable which records both verbal and physical conversations, connects them and helps build a second brain. It uses a personalized language model with an individual knowledge graph in the backend that evolves with data and voice inputs.
NeoSapien provides memory insights, key topics & action items for meetings. The product can also detect emotions and tone to have a better understanding of those words. Users can also use the Query function to pull conversations and general individual insights.
NeoSapien’s users will need verbal consent in order for the device to record conversations. They have 4 generations so far. The first one was connected to a laptop to test those conversations and record functionality. In generation 2, a companion app was added to the device. In 3rd generation, they worked on enhancing battery life to now 4 days and it has a smaller form factor from previous generations. Their final and forth generation is what they presented on the Shark Tank India.
All the data is stored in the cloud as a Large AI model requires more computing power. The founders added that they are an R&D-centric company first and they are focusing on making NeoSapien a standalone device by storing data locally.
Some of the other functionalities of NeoSpien include summarizing and collating information from multiple meetings, and providing a history of previous meetings the company has already integrated note-taking apps and emails to the technology as well to make the process smoother.
NeoSapien’s Financials & Revenue during Shark Tank India:
NeoSapien is priced at ₹14,999. The founders shared that they are targeting leaders and aim to increase their efficiency. The device would also come with a 1-year subscription to all the services like unlimited transcription and complete second-brand functionality. After first year, they will charge subscription fee of ₹850.
The founders are aiming to make ₹16 Crores worth of revenue in the first 18 months after their launch. They added that it will be a ₹85 Crore revenue as a company in 5 years.
NeoSapien Shark Tank India Negotiations & Funding:
Aman went out due to it being too early. Kunal felt the same; therefore, he went out as well. Ritesh thought that the market was too small for this specific tech therefore; he went out as well. Namita was interested in the business, but she wanted them to focus on mental health. with that condition, she offered ₹80 Lakhs for 4% equity in the company which the founders accepted without any hesitation.

Dhananjay Yadav & Aryan Yadav founded NeoSapien. Dhananjay was part of the early team at Razor Pay and he was the head of customer acquisition at different brands. He was also a founding member of Livspace & Homelane.
Aryan has done his engineering from IIT Madras. He developed a new AI architecture for brain tumour recognition
