Geeani Agritech is a Small Tractor company which showcased their innovative compact tractor designed for small-scale farmers. Founded in 2022, the company focuses on manufacturing cost-efficient electronic tractors suitable for farmers with limited land. The entrepreneurs aimed to provide affordable solutions to those unable to afford larger, expensive models. They they sought investment of Rs. 75 lakhs in exchange for 7.5% equity.

Their Tractor is designed for Indian Farmers and can be used for intercropping. It is only 3 Ft. They have granted patient for drive train technology. The company is a pre-revenue company at the time of the pitch but founders share that they had over 500 inquiries. it is 8X more efficient than diesal powered Tractors. They give 3 year battery warranty with Battery life claims of 7-8 Years. The cost of product is ₹3.8 lakh and it would convert into ₹3 lakh at 100 unit order. They have a current capacity of 100 units per month. they have total investment of ₹25 lakh.

Geeani Shark Tank Negotiations and Funding:

Aman gives the first offer but he clarifies that he doesn’t have any knowledge of the industry but he would still help the founders when they need it. With that Aman offers them a dream deal of exactly what they asked for, ₹75 lakh for 7.5% of the company. Anupam suggest that all sharks go together and offer 1 Crore for 10% of the company. Vineeta and Aman accepts Anupam suggestion and they offer ₹1 Crore for 10% but Amit wanted to go solo.

Amit offers ₹1.5 Crore for 20% of the company. Namita goes out citing that its a capital intensive business. Company takes a moment to think and comes to counter that Amit comes along on ₹1 Crore for 10% deal. Sharks refuses that but Amit offers them ₹1 Crore for 10% again going solo. But founders still decide to go with the Three shark deal and they shake hands on that.

Who are the founder so Geeani Agritech?

Divyarajsinh Bihola, Prajal Geeta Menon & Anitha Panikar founded Geeani Agritech. Anita and Prajal have teaching background. Anita is from Kerala and married into Ahmedabad. Divyaraj is a automobile engineer and has worked two years in the industry.

How is Geeani Agritech doing after Shark Tank India?

Our research in the company revealed that weather their deal with sharks closed or not is still unclear but with the information available on internet, It seems like the deal did not close after the show. That being said, Geeani Agritech went on to raise another investment of ₹1 Crore on platform called Tyke where they shared that, it only took them 13 days to reach their goal of ₹1 Crore. Despite that investment, Founders were unable to take the tractor to market and as of November 2023, there has been no updates in past 6 months which is leading us to believe that the company is out of business.
