It is a game changer that provides you with unparalleled convenience and experience. They claim to be India’s first contactless payment Ring.
The company argues that the experience is better as 7 Ring Doesn’t require a smartphone app or an OTP / PIN for making payments below INR 5,000 in India. 7 Ring is also a passive wearable that draws power from the POS machine, so has no battery and doesn’t require charging like other wearables. Moreover, 7 Ring doesn’t require pairing with a smartphone, instead it is linked to a digital prepaid wallet in the cloud.
In addition to all that functionality, 7 Ring offers Flat 1% Cashback on every spend using 7 Ring at any merchant outlet across India. The company is proud of the fact that 7 Ring is designed, assembled, manufactured and patented in India by a team of Indian founders and is not a run-of-the-mill import from outside India.
Who is the founder of 7 Ring India?
Vijay Kaubchandani founded 7 Ring. He has been a founder and CEO of 3 other startups before starting Seven/7. His First startup was MVK Financials Services Pvt Ltd was the authorized Direct Sales Associate of various Indian & Multinational Banks/HFC’s including Citibank N.A., for retail mortgage loan products in Mumbai, India. We helped banks facilitate mortgages worth $25+ million over 6 years, while the company was operational.
Vijay then moved on to his second Startup which was an online Loan Comparison & Application portal in India named MoneyLeo.com. MoneyLeo helped users compare loan quotes and charges across various banks and non-banking financial corporations, so as to take an informed decision and save time on applying with banks who wouldn’t offer them the best deal tailored to their specific profile and income.
His 3rd startup was MindSparx where he spent 3 years and 7 months. MindSparx was a mobile application products company headquartered in Mumbai, India. In April 2018, he then went on to start Seven which is a D2C fintech startup from India, building wearable smart rings, that do POS and Metro Payments, powered by UPI. Seven is scheduled to appear on Shark Tank India Season 4 as they gain popularity by appearing on the promos.
